The first day of summer vacation is turning out to be a busy and bright one. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

Oh laundry, how I hate thee.
Laundry stinks! I am tired of doing laundry. I want to quit laundry and get a new waste of time. Ugg, but if I quit laundry then my kids are gonna look dirty and yuck. So I guess I can't quit laundry. But, what I am going to try implementing into my weekly routine is a laundry schedule. When we lived in a community where there were laundry facilities and not individual laundry in each apartment, I did laundry on Mondays. Only on Mondays. It was a good system, and I never had an issue with it. But now, with a new baby and a 3 year old potty trainer, I can't really wait until Mondays. So.... I am going to try a system that I read on MeckMom.com. She is one of my favorite kid friendly organizational blogger. So, Monday I will do adult laundry. On Wednesday I will do bed sheets, towels and all that other house hold stuff that needs washing. Then on Saturday I will do the kids laundry. I may need to throw in Sutton's laundry with adults laundry on occasion. I really want this to work. Honestly, laundry is the bane of my existence.
Now for the part where my kids throw EVERYTHING into the hamper, even freshly washed clothes that they did not want to put away, I am working out a new system that they might enjoy. Some kind of reward for the kiddo with the least amount of bulk laundry. By bulk, I mean jeans, sweatshirts and things that can be worn more then once. Obviously they need to change their undergarments every day.
I want to enjoy looking into the empty laundry basket, knowing that I wont have to look into it again for an entire week. Wont that be nice!

Princess Mania
We went to a local Summer Boutique this past Saturday and had a blast. The girls were in crafty girly heaven! I am just so darn impressed with the things people come up with. I bought a fabulous bow and clippie holder. Fantastic clips of all shapes and colors that my little girls can't get enough of. A beach bag made out of beach towels, hats and headbands and dads fathers day gift. So much fun. The girlie's have been modeling hair clips all day. It is so much fun having girls. I love crafters. They seriously make my day!
